Making Visits Fun!

We’ve created a dental office that kids like to visit: filled with toys and games, and staffed by people who really like to be around children. From our kids’ waiting room and game room to the 3D TV in every chair, ours is an entertaining environment. Children get to choose what movie they want to watch during treatment, too!

We welcome parents in the clinic and hope you’ll join us. Our experience shows children whose parents are actively engaged in their care develop the healthiest habits and strongest smiles.

Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Jessica Chiang, Dr. Amy Chen and Dr. Nakako Uritani are our board-certified pediatric dentists. Each has completed many hours of postdoctoral course work, has an additional master’s degree, and avidly pursues continuing education. They are committed to delivering the most advanced care, that’s tailored to your little one’s needs.

We understand that each child has unique clinical concerns, his or her own personality, and is at a specific stage of development. We are respectful of your child’s individuality and attentive to whom the child is as a person.

Every procedure, and each visit, is fully customized to your youngster and you. We use a tell-show-do approach: talking with your child about what’s going to happen, showing the tools, and then proceeding when the child is ready.

For more apprehensive patients, or those who have trouble holding still for longer periods, we offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and IV sedation.

Orthodontic Care

We believe everyone, no matter what their age may be, deserves a smile they love! Our orthodontist, Dr. Emerald Nguyen, provides a range of leading-edge options, including aesthetic treatments, and performs complimentary consultations.

Technology

Digital X-rays provide several advanced imaging options designed to save time, provide clearer dental photos, and expose patients to less radiation than traditional X-ray technology. 

We also use a Kodak intraoral camera to help with diagnosing and treating your child. Our intraoral camera is small: about the size of the mirror we use during your regular hygiene appointments. You probably wouldn’t even notice we’re using it, except that with the intraoral camera, you have the opportunity to see everything we see on a monitor.

This is a great tool to help you become more informed about your or your child’s dental health, as it gives a clear understanding of the condition of the teeth, and it allows you to make a more informed decision regarding treatment options.

Comfort Dentistry

We use special devices, such as the STA Magic Wand system, to give pain-free injections and promote painless dentistry. We use state-of-the-art technologies to provide superior service and ensure a child’s dental experience will be relaxing and comfortable.

We also have nitrous oxide sedation (laughing gas), and oral and IV sedation, for complicated procedures.
