Prenatal and Infancy Care

Why is it important to relate prenatal oral health to the oral health of the child? Most of the mothers or caregivers don’t realize they are the main microbial source for the child. Mother's oral health is just as important as your child’s oral health.
Also, prime importantly that baby's overall health can be affected by mom’s dental hygiene during pregnancy. Good oral health care can improve the health of your baby. Gum disease is common during pregnancy and can be associated with premature birth or low birthweight.

While pregnant, follow these guidelines to keep your baby healthy:

  1. Brush and floss daily
  2. Visit your dentist every 6 months
